Protecting our customers and staff in our restaurants

The safety and well-being of our customers, and our staff is our utmost priority at Shoryu Ramen.

We're continuing to follow official guidance from the UK Government and Public Health England carefully to ensure a safe dining environment for all our customers.

To help stop the spread of COVID-19, we are implementing the following measures:


Coronavirus restaurant guidelines

1. Social distancing

To help with social distancing in the restaurant, some seats will be out of use, with extra space between tables and distancing maintained in the common areas

2. Payments

Contactless payment is preferred but we will accept cash

3. Staff & customer screens

We have installed screens to help protect our staff and customers.

4. Temperature checking

Customer temperatures will be checked on arrival to ensure the safety of others

5. Cleaning stations

Please use the antibacterial gel provided on entry to the restaurant and at your table to help protect others.

6. Extra Cleaning

The team will increase hand washing, table wipe downs, sanitise menus, PDQ machines, customer touch points with common areas cleaned daily and surfaces sanitised between seatings

7. Staff health

All team members will complete health questionnaires and temperature checks prior to beginning work & wear PPE as required.

8. Condiments & Cutlery

Condiments and cutlery will be given out with your meal rather than laid at the table, if you need anything else please let us know:)

9. Customer numbers

To help social distancing we will limit the number of diners to help maintain a safe dining environment.

10. Contact tracing

To ensure the safety of our staff and customers we will ask you to complete a contact tracing details form

11. Kitchen team

Our teams in the kitchen also follow social distancing

12. Use of mask

Due to current legislation from the government, customers must now wear a face covering when entering our restaurants or using the bathroom, this can only be removed once seated. Further information can be found here.

13. Bookings and the rule of six

We have restricted our booking system to 6 persons, however, if you have a family or bubble larger than 6 please email your chosen restaurant to book.
